Despite battling a heart condition his entire life, Keighton Farrenkopf of Bridgeport continued to praise God, and he always did whatever he could to help others, which is why he started his own business, Keighton’s Kreations, to help raise money to buy gifts for other children in the hospital. Although Keighton passed away in 2011 at the age of 15, his love for God and his giving heart have continued to shine through with his family. They’re still operating Keighton’s Kreations, and they use money from those sales to purchase stuffed animals that they give to children to encourage them and to draw them closer to God. Keighton’s parents, Tanya and Cameron, also started doing something a couple years ago they never imagined they would do – they became the pastors of a new church they planted in Bridgeport.

BRIDGEPORT – No matter how fatigued Keighton Farrenkopf felt or how much pain he was in, he was always more concerned about the people around him than himself.
“Even when he was in the hospital and we would get ready to say a prayer, he would say, ‘OK, before praying for me, let’s say a prayer for this other kid who’s next to me,’” said his mom, Tanya Farrenkopf of Bridgeport. “And even when he was on a ventilator, making it so he couldn’t talk, he could still let us know what he wanted, which was to pray for the other kids he had gotten to know in the hospital.”
