MITCHELL – Hayley Blackstone, a senior at Mitchell High School, is Nspire Today!’s Female Student of the Month for April. She has a 4.0 GPA and ranks first in her class. Activities she’s involved in at school are National Honor Society (secretary), FBLA, Tigers Committed, golf, basketball, and track and field (high jump, discus and shot put). After she graduates from high school, she plans to attend either Black Hills State University in Spearfish, South Dakota, or the University of Nebraska at Kearney and major in biology. Her parents are Chrissy and Jordan Blackstone.
Q: How has your senior year been going?
BLACKSTONE: “It’s been going by super fast. I don’t have that many days left of school, which is crazy to think about. But it’s been a fun year. I’ve made more great memories.”
