Bonnie A. Robinson of Gering

Bonnie A. Robinson, 70, of Gering, died Sunday, December 26, 2021 at her home with her loving family at her side.  Cremation has taken place in accordance with her wishes and no services are scheduled at this time.  Memorials may be made in care of the family and will be designated at a later date. Bonnie was born July 1, 1951 in Reading, Pennsylvania to Harry and Gloria (Cramp) Kissinger.  She graduated from high school in 1969 in Leesport, Pennsylvania and later attended college at WNCC in Scottsbluff.

Bonnie married Richard A. Robinson on November 16, 1969 and two children were born to this union, Bobbi Jo and William.  The family lived in Bayard until 1996.

She worked at Regional West Medical Center as a medical records clerk. Bonnie returned to Pennsylvania after Richard’s passing and worked for Tower Health as a clerk in the pathology office.  She moved to Gering in 2019 after her retirement.

Bonnie had a special knack for gardening and stayed active going on daily walks.  She was a caregiver to many in her life and tenderly cared for her beloved cats.  She enjoyed participating in the church group at Northfield Villa Apartments where she lived.  She loved visiting the beach and spending time with each of her grandkids whenever possible.  Bonnie was one of a kind and a very loving, selfless person.  She consistently put other’s needs before her own.

Survivors include her daughter, Bobbi Jo Ramirez of Morrill; favorite child, William (Tabbie) Robinson of Maryland; grandchildren, Court Muhr, Natasha Gage, Enrico Ramirez Jr., Xavian Ramirez, Carson Ramirez, Adam Cochrane Jr. and Zander Cochrane; brother, Michael (Karen) Kissinger of Pennsylvania; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law; as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.

Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Richard; and brother, Harry Kissinger.
