Fred Kenneth Pattinson, 91, of Gering, passed on Friday, January 22, 2021 at Heritage Estates in Gering. At his request, cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held at 12 noon on February 13, 2021 via Zoom with Brother Nathan Golubich officiating. Please request the log-in information from the family. Fred was born September 23, 1929 at Belle Fourche, South Dakota to Raymond P. and Louise Mildred (Redding) Pattinson. He was Baptized October 15, 1939 as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses and remained a member up until his death.
He received his elementary education at Aladdin, Wyoming before graduating from Rapid City, South Dakota High School.
Fred was united in marriage to Estelle Winifred Allen on May 14, 1994 at Scottsbluff, Nebraska. The couple made their home in Scottsbluff. Fred was self-employed as a painter and carpenter, retiring in 2001 at the age of 71.
