Gladys Keller, 96, formally of Gering passed away peacefully Dec. 14, 2020 at Northwest Nursing Center in Oklahoma City, OK. Her funeral service will be held Jan. 11th at 10:00 A. M. at West Lawn Cemetery in Gering with Pastor Dale Brown officiating. Online condolences may be left at www.geringchapel.com
Gladys was born June 30, 1924 to Jacob and Marie (Loose) Kaufman. Her family lived in Gering when she began school. Gladys married Elmer in 1948 and they farmed in Gering Valley until 1956, then Bayard and Mitchell Valley. In 1984 they retired from farming and moved to town in Gering. Gladys enjoyed golf and playing the organ.
Survivors include her daughter Linda (Dan) Shrader of Oklahoma City, OK, son Larry (Beverly) Keller of Sharon Springs, KS, grandchildren Dwayne (Elizabeth) Shrader of Roanoke, TX, Mike (Jeannie) Shrader of Keller, TX, Chris (Kelly) Shrader of Oklahoma City, OK, Erik (Tara) Keller of Wichita KS, and Brett (Alana) Keller of Goodland, KS, great-grandchildren Sydney and Madison Shrader, Hope (Caleb) Sherman, Ephraim and Logan Shrader, Carson, Cameron, Josiah and Elizabeth Keller.
Gladys was preceded in death by her husband, parents, sisters, Betty, Emma and Helen, brothers Raymond Kaufman and Harold and Albert Loose
