SIDNEY – Aiden Jenkins, a 2021 Sidney High School graduate, has been named Nspire Today!’s Male Student of the Month for August, sponsored by 16th Empire Restaurant in Scottsbluff. This past school year he was involved in S Club, Science Club, National Honor Society, and SRTV (streaming school events), and he was also a student manager on the basketball team. Outside of school, he’s done some volunteer work for the Sidney Chamber of Commerce. He graduated with a 4.0 GPA. His parents are Matthew and Sarah Jenkins. For being named a student of the month, Aiden will receive a gift certificate for a free meal at 16th Empire Restaurant.
Q: How did your senior year of school go?
JENKINS: “It went by pretty fast, but for the most part, it went how I wanted it to go.”
Q: What was your favorite activity at school?
JENKINS: “I would say being the basketball manager. That position was a lot of fun. I enjoyed being on the team and helping them out.”
