CHADRON – Kailee Webster, a senior at Chadron High School, has been attending Saint Patrick’s Catholic Church in Chadron her entire life. She’s attended a number of youth church camps during her life, and she serves at her church in several different ways. Q: How much have you enjoyed attending Saint Patrick’s Catholic Church over the years?

WEBSTER: “I’ve really enjoyed it because everyone is so nice and everyone supports each other.”

Q: Do you attend a youth group at your church?

WEBSTER: “I used to go to youth group. It was called CCD. I participated in that from kindergarten up to my junior year of high school when I got confirmed. I really enjoyed that because they teach you so much about God, and I felt like I grew deeper in my faith. It was really cool.”

Q: How would you describe your church?

WEBSTER: “It’s a very welcoming church. We’re a college town, and our priest really welcomes all the college students. Every new person he sees, he introduces himself and tries to get to know them more, and so does everyone else at our church. … I would say about 150 people attend our church regularly.”
