FEATURE: ‘I wanted to help make the world a better place’

Willie Uhing decided to get involved in education while he was going to college, and he’s glad he did because he’s enjoyed a rewarding and wonderful 18-year teaching and coaching career so far, including the last 16 years at Chadron High School. Uhing said he’s still highly driven as an English teacher and a coach, and the reason why is because he loves giving students ‘tools’ that will help them live a better life and impact the world in a positive way.
