In 1984, Pam Hayden wanted to do something different for a career, so she became a paraprofessional educator at Mary Lynch Elementary School in Kimball. She didn’t know how well she would like the job or how long she would do it, but she ended up loving it – so much so that she’s still working there as a para 38 years later.

KIMBALL – Pam Hayden had been working at Ben Franklin store in downtown Kimball for nearly 10 years when she decided it was time for a change.
“At that time, Ben Franklin was a family-owned business, and there was no chance for advancement,” she said.
