Jordan (Harriger) Gonzales of Mitchell has been named TC & More’s Teacher of the Week.
Gonzales is a language arts teacher at Mitchell High School. She’s been teaching for seven years overall, including four years at Mitchell. She previously taught in Bayard.
In addition to teaching, Gonzales is Mitchell’s cheerleading coach.
Gonzales graduated from Mitchell High School in 2008, and then she graduated from Chadron State College in 2013 with an education degree.
The person who nominated Gonzales for TC & More’s Teacher of the Week honor said, “She‘s very kind-hearted – she’s always smiling – and she does everything she can to help all of her students. You can tell that students enjoy being in her class. Mitchell High School is lucky to have her as a teacher.”
TC & More and Nspire Today! say “thank you” to Gonzales for making a big difference in young people’s lives.
Gonzales will receive a $10 gift certificate to TC & More, which is located at 1621 Broadway Ave. in downtown Scottsbluff. Gift certificates may be picked up at TC & More.
