Community Christian School in Scottsbluff will open a hybrid school option for middle school students starting in the fall of 2023. The intention is to give parents more say over what their children are being taught and to provide a safe Christian environment for the students to learn in.

SCOTTSBLUFF – Community Christian School (CCS) in Scottsbluff is working on organizing a hybrid school program for students in sixth through eighth grades. Stephanie Reynaga, who is one of the school administrators and teaches PE, STEM, and computer classes, is the head teacher of a group of three teachers who make up the leadership team.
“The state requirements say that there has to be one teacher that’s the appointed head teacher,” Reynaga said. “But the hybrid school program has been a whole school group effort, which has been brought up by parents who asked us to look into the possibilities.”
