For those who haven’t picked out a dress yet for an upcoming prom, there’s still time to get a “unique and exciting” one at A Bridal Affair in Scottsbluff.
Chelsea Wilson, A Bridal Affair owner, said she recently received about 20 new prom dresses, giving customers a chance to pick from about 40 total prom dresses at her business.
Wilson said the prom dresses come in a range of sizes and styles from two quality brands: Envious and Morilee.
“No one around here carries these lines, so we’ll always have something new and different that customers will get to look at,” Wilson said. “The odds of someone around here having a dress like mine aren’t very likely. I go all over the place to find dresses for girls so that way no one looks the same.”
Wilson said her prom dresses also come in a wide range of price points, giving girls a good chance to find a dress in her price range.
Although some school’s proms are coming up in a few days or in a few weeks, Wilson said she works hard to make sure that dresses are available for her customers before the day of prom.
“There’s still plenty of time to come in,” she said. “I work everybody in no matter what. I actually work over nights sometimes to get all of my alterations done. That way, everyone has a chance to get everything done, and it will be ready to go for the week of the event. I’ve never had a dress not get done on time. I do that so people can go to prom and have a great experience.”
A Bridal Affair has a few specials going on. Anyone who books a prom tux can get $25 off a dress. Also, all prom tuxedos are 10 percent off. In addition, girls who buy a dress can get 20 percent off any pair of in-stock shoes.
Wilson also noted that in addition to the nearly 40 prom dresses that are currently available at A Bridal Affair, catalogs are also available in store that customers can look at to view other styles, colors and brands of prom dresses.
Wilson encourages everyone to stop by A Bridal Affair often as she plans to get new dresses in every two weeks.
“We want to do that so customers have a lot of styles to choose from, and we’ll also have a lot of price points available,” she said.
