Willie Uhing of Chadron High School has been named TC & More’s Teacher of the Week.
Uhing is an English teacher, and he’s also the school’s National Honor Society sponsor. He also coaches in Chadron.
Uhing has been teaching in Chadron for 14 years.
The person who nominated Uhing for TC & More’s Teacher of the Week honor said, “Willie is one of the most positive and inspiring people I know. You just feel better after talking to him. He sets a great example for the students, and the impact he makes goes well beyond the classroom. He genuinely cares about each and every one of his students, and he’ll go out of his way to help anybody in our community. I thank him for being not just a great teacher but a great person all-around.”
Uhing will receive a $10 gift certificate to TC & More, which is located at 1621 Broadway Ave. in downtown Scottsbluff. Gift certificates may be picked up at TC & More.
