‘Every morning I put my feet on the ground, I count my blessings’

Heath Holly of Sidney feels lucky to be alive after suffering a massive heart attack on Easter 2018. Going through that experience, he said, gave him a newfound outlook on life. He no longer sweats the small stuff; he appreciates even more just having a roof over his head and food to eat; he cherishes every moment he gets to spend with his family and friends; and he thanks God for every breath he gets to take.

SIDNEY – On Saturday, the day before Easter 2018, Heath Holly was getting a rub ready for the prime rib he was going to cook for his family on Easter.

He felt “puny,” though. He didn’t have much energy. So he walked over to the recliner in his living room to sit down and rest for a bit.

“I didn’t know what was going on,” said Holly, who was 50 at the time. “I couldn’t figure out why I was feeling so bad.”
