NSPIRING YOUTH: ‘It’s been the perfect instrument for me’

Kimball High School senior Jayden Paxton began playing the trumpet in fifth grade, and she’s still playing that instrument today in band, marching band, and jazz band. Over the years, Paxton has been highly successful at playing the trumpet, including being selected for several honor bands. She was also asked to perform ‘Taps’ a couple times for Memorial Day services, and she even plans to use her talented trumpet-playing skills in Kimball’s show choir this school year.
