Bethany Nichols, who graduated from Bridgeport High School in May, was one of seven students recently selected for the Nebraska State FFA officer team. Over the next year, she’s looking forward to trying to make a big difference in that position while also pursuing another one of her dreams – becoming an ag teacher.

BRIDGEPORT – Bethany Nichols was about 11 years old when her uncle, Brandon Nichols, was selected as a Nebraska State FFA officer, one of the most prestigious honors in FFA.
Ever since then, Bethany has desired to be a Nebraska State FFA officer herself.
“That was my dream for a really long time,” said Nichols, who graduated from Bridgeport High School in May.
